This is a full-stack role with lean on front-end (70/30 mix). *** We will not be able to sponsor work-related Visas.*** RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement rich user experiences Communicate effectively with your team on domain, design, coding, and architectural approaches Author and curate technical documentation to support delivery, maintenance, adoption (i.e. technical requirements, user guides, etc.) Design and develop automated deployment and maintenance mechanisms Contribute in code reviews Write automated tests to raise code quality as part of the development process. Prepare for and provide regular demonstrations on approaches and deliverables within and without the engineering team Prepare and give demos as needed Share and receive insights, interacting with team members towards a common goal? SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Strong CSS and HTML skills (you know when to use Flexbox, CSS Grid, or hey a ) Strong JavaScript skills (Modern framework knowledge is a plus, we use React and Angular) Strong skills in UI accessibility is a big plus Familiarity in a server-side language is a plus, we use C#, Go, PHP, and Java Strong aptitude for writing efficient code and delighting users with best in class UX Proficient in HTTP, web services and Restful API’s EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or significant professional experience 3+ years of professional software engineering experience Experience with testing, version control, chatbot technologies, and build tools is a plus LOCATION This role is open to U.S. remote candidates and office-based candidates.
