FRONT END DEVELOPER Our Client is one of the UK’s leading providers of insurance and legal services.

They are currently looking to recruit a Front end Developer on a permanent basis for their office in Birkenhead, Wirral.
Due to Covid restrictions the role will initially be home based.
The successful candidate will become part of their dynamic software development team and work on delivering useable, scalable front end layers for in house solutions and client facing portals.
Key duties and responsibilities Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop mobile-first web pages Maintain and improve company systems and solutions Work in multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers Provide input to assist in creating high-quality mockups and design prototypes Develop Mobile-first applications Adhere to brand guidelines and other 3rd party branding Act on feedback from users and customers Make suggestions for better solutions to problems Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies Work on greenfield and brownfield projects to support business objectives Experience and knowledge Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Front-end Developer Experience with Angular & Angular Material Knowledge of mobile-first design practices and breakpoints Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Detail Oriented.
Ability to be objective Desireables TypeScript experience would be beneficial Experience of VUEJS, Knockout or any other JavaScript framework Experience using project management systems such as VSTS/AzureDevOps/Trello Scantec Personnel Limited is acting as an employment business and an employment agency.
