Job DescriptionCarries out duties in detecting and preventing fraud within the company. Liaises with internal computer investment auditors to reduce risk in the company.ResponsibilitiesManage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.Maintain excellent relationships with Police, Interbank Card Fraud committee, and internal FNB Card Departments such as Legal, Risk, HR, Public Relations, IT security, and Forensic audit to ensure that we remain up to date with Fraud trends as well as assist in industry decision making to combat fraud.Develop and maintain a network of experts to ensure communication of solutions, benefits, risks, and innovations in area of specialisation.Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.Make decisions on arrests and represent FNB in Courts of law during prosecution of criminals, always protecting the reputation of the Bank.Track and analyse Fraud trends and performance and communicate to Head FNB CBS Fraud, in order to keep up to date with new trends of fraud as the fraud scams are becoming more and more sophisticated.Deal with complexity of different types of criminal cases, from minor infringements to major fraud cases.Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.Manage own development to increase own competencies.Qualifications and SkillsDegree/Diploma/Certification in banking/commerce.2-3 years relevant experience.Job DetailsTake note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below: 04/01/25.All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group's Employment Equity plan.
