The successful candidate will report directly to the Technical Manager.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Manage technicians / artisans to implement approved solutionsFacilitate and coordinate the technical Toolbox meetingsMentor Technicians and Artisans and assist with fault findingProcure the critical parts and maintain minimum stock levelsCheck that correct spares and materials are available as and when neededProduce investigation reports with proposals and alternative solutionsPromote Plant safety regulations according to the Occupational Health Safety ActFollow up on specific plant non-conformanceInvestigate incidents to establish non-compliance and conduct root cause analysisProvide input and assist with design specifications to improve plant efficiencyPerform administrative dutiesConduct risk assessments and manage contractorsInitiate disciplinary hearings and manage staff absenteeismControl budget of repairs and maintenance costsManage computer maintenance system (Shopware)
