Foreman Maintenance

Purpose of the job To lead and supervise the milling maintenance team responsible for asset care through preventative and corrective maintenance on site according to Premier quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities To ensure optimal plant asset management through: Execute the asset care plan as per schedule and plans Ensure corrective and preventative maintenance performed as needed, both scheduled and unscheduled Ensuring up to date asset registers in collaboration with relevant managers Support performance management of suppliers by escalating issues to the manager or performing ad-hoc inspections.
Ensuring cost effective inventory management of supplies and equipment Ensure high performance culture in the maintenance team by: building and motivating capability through competency-based selection training and development, coaching, mentoring, performance management effective communications leading and participating in Invocoms and meetings as needed ensuring good discipline and accountability establishing good working relationships with union representatives ensuring a conducive and safe working environment according to the Premier way.
To ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance to all health and safety and food safety requirements by: Training on SOP's by ensuring training of relevant personnel On job observation and coaching Inspections and reports on quality of work Participate in Audits e.
