Responsibilities:Ensure full implementation and monitoring of the Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management System including ensuring that the programs are communicated.Training of all employees and the promotion of the programs amongst management and staff.Ensure that all products are produced safely, legally and of a high standard of qualityCo-ordinate and monitor the implementation of the companys Health and Safetypolicy.Maintain, control and co-ordinate all functions within the Quality department, as well as help to develop and oversee the Quality Control team.Assist in the development and implementation of HACCP plans.Investigate and resolve quality issues to ensure products meet customer expectations.Requirements:Grade 12.Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.HACCP certification is preferred.Minimum 2 years experience in management or supervisory role in a foodmanufacturing environmentOnly short-listed candidates will be contacted.
