Overall Purpose of the Job The primary purpose is to build and maintain relationships with existing customers as an External Account Manager, supporting clients via face-to-face visits, virtual meetings, telephonic, and email support.
A secondary purpose is to follow up on incoming leads and close deals where possible, contributing to our mission of providing superior technology, information, and service to clients and partners.
The incumbent must uphold our promise to go beyond expectations in customer service.
Responsibilities of this position Act as the key interface between fleet customers and Cartrack, providing exceptional customer service.
Contact, resolve problems & queries, and build relationships with allocated clients.
Service existing clients by identifying immediate needs such as health checks, account reviews, fleet training, and self-service portal usage.
Expand the existing client base and develop innovative ways to grow the business.
Provide solutions to management in face of challenges.
Deliver ongoing training to clients and business sources on products.
Market and promote products to enhance brand awareness.
Focus on growing and developing existing clients.
Achieve high customer satisfaction scores.
Perform daily administrative tasks to maintain customer satisfaction, update CRM and reports, and document activities.
Attend to fleet queries, report setup, de/re-installation, repair requests, cancellations, account updates, and client information management.
Minimum Requirements National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 Diploma / Degree or equivalent Strong relationship management skills Account management and sales experience (minimum 4 years) Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Intermediate / Advanced) Strong business acumen focused on customer relations Excellent planning, organizational, and administrative skills High emotional intelligence and negotiation skills CRM experience
