Reference: JHB007436-DN-1 Our Client based in Cullinan is urgently seeking an experienced Finished Goods Controller to start as soon as possible The Ideal Candidate: Warehouse / Inventory Control of Finish Goods Area Coordinating inventory transfers within relevant department. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space and adhering to storage design principles. Maintains accurate inventory by conducting weekly cycle counts and monthly physical counts, reconciling variances. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods. Check materials against customer orders, picking lists and billings. Supervise loading and unloading operations. Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data. Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance. Employee Supervision Supervise and control subordinate's activities to ensure daily targets are met. Supervise time and attendance of all subordinates. Ensure disciplinary procedures are applied adequately. Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive and performing working environment. Highly effective supervisory skills. Proven ability to direct and coordinate staff activities. SHEQ Ensure acceptable personal hygiene of all staff at all times. Manage correct use of PPE at all times. Process and product hygiene standards maintained at all times. All duties are performed according to the Occupational Health & Safety guidelines and procedures. Qualification details Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Warehouse or equivalent - highly advantageous MS Office Proficiency (All, but specifically intermediate in Excel. Should the candidate be invited for an interview an excel test will be given) Experience 0 – 3 years Supply Chain experience would be highly advantageous Warehouse Control in Food Manufacturing sector would be highly advantageous: Operational: 3-5 years Supervisory: 2 – 3 years Competencies: Time Management Understanding of Costing Accuracy Planning Action oriented Building effective teams Drive for results Directing others Integrity and trust R To be discussed - To be discussed
