Role Overview
As a Financial Reporting Professional at Siemens Energy, you will oversee adherence to accounting standards, manage general accounting operations, and prepare annual financial statements.
Your attention to detail and professional expertise will ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards.
You will also train colleagues on accounting standards and support the business with technical inquiries and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage compliance with accounting standards and the preparation of financial statements.
Implement and monitor accounting policies in line with legal requirements.
Conduct training on current and upcoming accounting standards.
Assist in resolving technical accounting queries from the business.
Support external auditors during financial reporting.
Prepare statutory financial statements according to local GAAP.
Ensure adherence to risk management and internal controls.
Develop and coach SAICA trainees.
Review and analyze assets, liabilities, and stocks.
Qualifications and Experience

1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Qualified CA (SA).
International exposure is preferred.
Deep knowledge of accounting standards.
Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze situations critically and communicate solutions effectively.
Effective team collaboration skills.
