Financial Modeller

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing complex financial models that support the business in making data-driven decisions.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain robust financial models for mining operations, capital projects, and feasibility studiesProvide scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support commercial and investment decisionsWork closely with technical, commercial, and finance teams to ensure that models are aligned with operational realitiesPresent model outputs and insights to senior stakeholders and support strategic recommendationsContinuously update models based on operational inputs, market dynamics, and business prioritiesEnsure that financial models are accurate, compliant, and meet industry best practicesCandidate Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Maths, Stats or FinanceProven experience in financial modelling, preferably in the mining, energy, or infrastructure sectorsStrong Excel modelling skills and proficiency in building dynamic, multi-variable models from scratchAbility to interpret technical data and translate it into financial and business implicationsSolid understanding of valuation, project finance, and investment analysis principlesExcellent communication and presentation skills
