Financial Manager

Overview:Our client is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Financial Manager to oversee the company's financial management functions and contribute to business operations.
This individual will lead the finance team, ensure compliance and efficiency in financial processes, and leverage experience in property and/or investments to support strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))5+ years' experience in financial managementDemonstrated experience in property management and/or investment financeProficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., Pastel, Sage, or similar) Key Responsibilities:Financial ManagementManage the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and statutory complianceOversee cash flow management and ensure the company's financial stabilityPrepare and present monthly management accounts and financial statementsTeam Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to achieve organizational goalsAllocate tasks effectively and ensure performance standards are metOperational Oversight:Collaborate with operational teams to enhance business performance and efficiencyProvide financial insights to support operational and strategic initiativesProperty and Investment Management:Handle financial aspects of property portfolios and/or investment projectsAssess and manage risks related to properties and investmentsDevelop and implement strategies to optimize returns on investments Key Skills and Competencies:Strong financial acumen and analytical skillsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and solutions-driven approachComprehensive understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
