Partner with the business to provide finance services, insights, tactical strategy, and delivery plans to support operational implementation and enable the achievement of financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Define, develop, and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and frameworks to manage practices and provide thought leadership.
Implement financial reporting processes and documentation for entities and groups, adhering to professional standards.
Analyze, plan, and manage costs to support business strategies.
Translate business strategy into financial targets and support execution.
Develop benchmarking, trends, and forecasting methods to inform management decisions.
Establish and ensure effective modelling, planning, and forecasting processes.
Benchmark performance and deliver management information to support decision-making.
Design and implement control frameworks to ensure operational integrity.
Manage tax-related processes, including VAT reconciliation and tax packs.
Lead finance projects from strategy to system implementation.
Monitor and manage risks, ensuring compliance with audit guidelines.
Ensure governance and alignment with technical and costing guidance.
Prepare and assess tax returns, interpret tax legislation, and advise on implications.
Additional Duties:

Re-imagine costing models for platform adoption.
Develop market-related pricing strategies.
Construct value-added income statements.
Track key KPIs for various teams and the overall business.
Collaborate with teams to meet financial requirements.
Prepare monthly reports, business cases, and analyze charges.
Oversee reconciliation processes and manage budgets and forecasts.
Support month-end and compliance processes.
Review staff work and support the Finance Head.
Streamline processes and implement internal controls.
Assist with ad-hoc finance or business projects.

Ideal Candidate:

CA SA (2 years post-articles)
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 5 years experience
BSC Honours or related qualification
Experience in managing people
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills
SQL & PowerBI knowledge is an advantage
Financial & Value Management expertise
