I am partnering with a dynamic, fast growing entrepreneurial company operating within the petroleum industry. They are a group comprising various start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures. Seeking a FM / GM to be the 2IC to the CEO, they must be able to thrive in a vibrant, family-like company culture with a strong work ethic and the drive to go above and beyond. Interpersonally, the suitable candidate should have excellent communication skills, trustworthiness, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all aspects of financial operationsHandle day-to-day accounting tasksAddress issues related to customer statements, supplies, and other operational mattersWork closely with the finance and other teams for smooth financial operationsConfidently interact with senior stakeholders and hold your own in discussionsAssist with PayrollMaintain Fix Asset RegistrySubmit monthly VAT returnsCompany secretary dutiesPrepare and review monthly management accountsRequirements:Accounting or Finance DegreeMin of 5 years' experience in an operational financial management capacityPrevious exposure to business accounting and financial strategy is essential
