Financial Manager Centurion

Duties & Responsibilities Environment: Oversee the financial accounts by tracking and reporting on financial transactions.
Supervise and guide a Finance team by setting KPIs managed through one-on-ones.
As the next Financial Manager sought by a dynamic Tech Company in Centurion, you will be expected to continuously seek improvements in the implementation of cashbook, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) systems and processes.
Candidates must be able to handle project work and ad hoc tasks as required.
Assist with Annual Audits and the preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
Duties Analyze the age analysis for the company throughout the month.
Manage the entire Finance team.
Verify all reconciliations for payments submitted by the Junior Financial Accountant before final sign-off.
Source suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Reconcile suppliers and prepare payments as needed.
Load payments on the bank and verify banking details of new recipients.
Assist in obtaining details for BEE Certification and monitor related expenditure.
Reconcile and review credit card statements.
Assist in audit preparations.
Manage intercompany schedules and confirmations within the group.
Process and approve journals.
Participate in ad hoc projects and assist with budgeting.
Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of processes and procedures.
Requirements Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
Post-Graduate Finance Degree.
CA(SA) qualification preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting and management.
At least 2 years' experience managing or leading a finance team.
Experience with Pastel Evolution (preferable).
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Understanding of financial risk factors.
Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Strong analytical and numerical reasoning abilities.
High attention to detail.
