Details of the offer

Requirements:BCom Finance, Hons Finance, CA(SA) Registered
- Minimum 3 years of Financial Management experience
- Solid understanding of IFRS
Finance
Head of the Finance Department
Review management accounts prepared by the accountant as well as the foreign currency translation reserve
Oversee the preparation of the annual financial statements for the group
Perform monthly reviews against the budget.
Liaise with finance houses to secure foreign and local payments as well as estimating landed cost of foreign purchases
Analysing the impact of international money markets on the performance of company products or services.
Ensure that the group is compliant with local statutory law.
Prepare and submit monthly VAT201 returns, provisional taxes and annual income taxes

Create a yearly audit plan (internal controls)
Identify operational issues, formulate opinions, make conclusions and recommend solutions
Provide support to all departments to reach accelerated growth and improved profitability without any compromise to the set policies and procedures
Risk control and auditing
Implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in newly incorporated entities
Identify major risks and risk areas.
Arrange and oversee internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan (annual, quarterly and ongoing audits)
Compliance
Ensure adherence to key controls, policies and procedures.
Review of key controls, policies and procedures.
Ensure that the monthly reconciliation process is completed within the set times.
Assist and support operations in the development of processes and control over the processes to ensure the efficient and low-risk flow of business
Business process and improvement
Improve processes and cycles in different areas and regions.
Develop new policies, procedures and processes.
Create synergies and ensure correct segregation of duties is maintained during process flow developments.
Monitor deviations and acting to have them under control
