A long standing and a much loved Non Profit Organisation in Port Elizabethis currently looking to employ an experienced Financial Manager who is proficient using Pastel.
Job Description
Processing of accounts
External Audits
Analysis of Key expense/control areas
Debtor Management
Bank Account
Petty Cash
Payroll/related reports
Property Management

Accounting System
Pastel system currently used is Pastel Express XP 2018
Responsible for the financial recording of all programmes of the company
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel required as reports are generated in excel

Signatory all on banking accounts held by the organisation
Limited authority level on Business Online which includes the loading of beneficiaries and payments.
The Organisation adheres to dual control on all banking transactions to ensure sound financial control

External Stakeholders
The External Auditors for annual audit, and SARS related matters
Accounting firm for support for PAYE E-Filing annual and bi-annual returns
Pastel Support service provider
Provident Fund service provider
Bank Relationship Manager(s)
Tenants of the company
Walk in cash donors of the company
Donors of the companies iro S18a certificates

Internal Stakeholders
The companies Management Board and Finance Committee through the Director
Project Director and Manager of the RMSC
Programme Manager, Procurement Officer, Admin Officer, and Maintenance Officer of the company

Good communication skills

A financial degree or diploma will be beneficial
Experience in the NPO sector will be to applicantâs advantage
A good knowledge in Excel required
Proficient in Pastel
At least 5-10 years experience in a Financial Manager/Book-keeping position
