The ideal candidate should have the following:
Exploring and reporting on factors manipulating business performance
Developing financial management mechanisms that reduce financial risk
Analysing change and directing consequently
Analysing competitors and market trends
Monitoring cash flows and forecasting future trends
Team supervision to ensure the finance departments objectives are met
Directing reviews and assessments for cost-reduction prospects
Articulating strategic and long-term business plans
Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in an Insurance or Financial Services environment
Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in a management role
Be able to compile and manages budgets, controls cash flow, and administers tender procurement processes
Have efficient understanding of HR / IR principles and performance management practices
