To support leadership in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project.
Key Performance areas
Strategic Impact
Supports the Engagement Manager in delivery of engagement / project, in specific area of competency
Raises issues with manager as identified in area of focus that may affect the quality of delivery or timelines of the engagement
Identifies opportunities for follow-on work and works with management to win the business
Assists in development of client presentations / discussion documentation
Actively builds business relationships that generate leads
Gathers information to understand broader offerings of Deloitte and seeks opportunities for cross-selling
Raises solutions to address issues in area of expertise that may enhance / renew service offerings to client
Client Impact: External / Internal
Communicates regularly with both Engagement Manager and client to meet deliverable expectations in specific area of expertise
Develops productive working relationships with client staff
Operational Effectiveness
Proactively identifies client needs and problems on technical issues that arise and propose resolutions to address these
Manages risk in area of engagement in alignment with Deloitte policies
Consistently reviews and analyses accuracy and quality of own deliverables
Maintains clear communication channels with engagement team members on work status
Development/Growth of Team
Shares expertise and knowledge with team members and assists where possible to ensure quality and timeous delivery of work
Mentors junior members of the team
Maintains own development and knowledge in specialised area
Budgets / Profitability
Maintains quality and timeous delivery as per SLA
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
University Graduate, preferably BSc (in Statistics or Mathematics); Financial Engineering or Actuarial Science.
Minimum Experience
Financial Modelling – technical knowledge in PD, EAD, LGD, Basel II and IAS39.
Need to have at least 3-5 years credit experience at a Bank or Consultancy.
Retail credit risk experience is preferable, but strong corporate credit is also acceptable.

Program coding knowledge and skills: SAS, VBA, Matlab (intermediate level
Financial Modelling – technical knowledge and skills in PD, EAD, LGD, Basel II (intermediate knowledge
Financial services and market regulations knowledge and application: regulation 23, IAS39, IFRS 9 (intermediate level)
Industry experience and knowledge in Credit risk, Valuations, Enterprise Risk, Market Risk, Treasury and Regulatory compliance (intermediate level)
