Our client is originally a family-owned business, has evolved into a major player in the manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing of lubricating products in SA (and is now a subsidiary of a JSE listed entity).Experience & Requirements:
It is critical that the incumbent comes from a manufacturing environment.
The environment is an entrepreneurial one that requires an individual that is adaptable and versatile in manner and approach.
CA (SA) qualification.
At least 2 years’ experience within a financial reporting environment.
Remuneration at R1.2m C.T.C (neg) plus bonuses/incentives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to oversee and manage all fiscal responsibilities and financial reporting for the business.
Prepare monthly reporting to group head office on a monthly basis and present these reports to the head office FD and CEO.
Submit Hyperion reports.
Consolidate divisional results.
Prepare and present quarterly board committee packs.
Part of the IT Steering Committee of the group.
Prepare royalty calculations where required.
Manage the entire finance team and their activities to ensure output of accurate financial results.
Manage the cash flow of the company, this includes working capital management on a weekly basis.
Prepare and submit annual tax returns and ensure overall tax compliance.
Review and submit VAT reconciliations on a monthly and IT14SD on an annual basis.
