Our client requires the service of a Financial ClerkKey performance areas:?Processing of customer and supplier invoices, credit notes and reconciliations?Processing of bank transactions and reconciliations?Compiling of VAT reports and submission of VAT201 returns to SARS, reconciliation of VAT control account?Processing of monthly Pastel Payroll and submissions of monthly EMP201 returns?Completion and submission of EMP501 declarations on a bi-annual?Completion and submission of annual Workmans Compensation returns and communicating with Department of Labour?Reporting of data and deliverables timeously?Ensure compliance with policies and procedures?Adhoc admin duties and tasks including practice invoicingThe successful candidate must have:?Must have Matric ?A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous ?3 years experience in a Debtors, Creditors and Payroll environment is advantageous?Must have experience working on the following systems (Pastel Accounting, Pastel Payroll, and Microsoft Office) ?High attention to detail ?Deadline driven?The ability to prioritize tasks and complete them?The ability to function as part of a team and work under pressure?Basic knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures?Good communication skills (English & Afrikaans) and professionalism; especially when dealing with clientsPlease note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.
