Our support is available online from 08h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Advisor at Liberty Group South Africa.
The Financial Advisor will be responsible for financial planning, retirement planning, providing financial advisory services, and managing investments.
The role is primarily located in the City of Cape Town with the flexibility for some remote work.QualificationsFinancial Planning and Retirement Planning skillsFinance and Investments knowledge2+ years of experience in providing Financial Advisory servicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCertifications such as CFP or CFA are a plusBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fieldKey ResponsibilitiesAssessing clients' financial positions including current income, expenses, and liabilities.Setting short-term and long-term financial goals.Proposing strategies for retirement planning, tax optimization, and asset management.Analyzing market trends and economic data.Recommending suitable investment vehicles like stocks, bonds, and real estate.Portfolio management to mitigate risks and optimize returns.Regularly updating clients on portfolio performance.Addressing any concerns or adjustments needed promptly.Educating clients on new financial products and services.Adhering to legal standards to protect themselves and their clients.Following industry regulations and staying informed on changes.Maintaining ethical guidelines to uphold trust and integrity in their profession.Engaging in professional development programs.Attending seminars and workshops.Continuous learning to adapt to new regulations and market innovations.
