A UK-based social enterprise dedicated to improving educational outcomes for vulnerable students is seeking a Financial Administrator to join their Cape Town team.
The organization works with qualified teachers to support children in the care system and those with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential.
As part of a passionate and growing team, the Financial Administrator will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations that support impactful educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Manage debt collection, billings and follow up on payments.Verify tuition hours and process tutor invoices for payment.Assist with bank reconciliations and invoicing.Facilitate the finance team with general admin tasks, including data entry and filing.Support tutor payments and expense claim processing.Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.Contribute to month-end/year-end processes and help improve internal controls and financial efficiency.Qualifications and Experience:Bcom or BTech degree in Accounting or Finance with 0-2 years of experience in a finance-related role, orDiploma in Accounting with 0-2 years of experience in a related financial role.Previous experience with debtors will be advantageous.Proficiency in Xero accounting software is preferred.Salary:R 15 000 - R20 000 CTC per month depending on the candidate.
