Key Responsibilities : - Process IFRS 17 journal entries, complete IFRS 4 to 17 reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with Group requirements. - Prepare investment accounting entries across multiple asset classes and ensure timely month-end submissions. - Assist with quarterly and annual SAM submissions, and complete regulatory returns including SARB and tax filings. - Support the external audit process and contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements for all group entities. Qualifications & Skills Required: - BCom Honours in Accounting or related field (CIMA or SAICA articles advantageous). - 23 years experience in financial or statutory accounting within the insurance industry (non-negotiable). - Strong working knowledge of tax computations, audit processes, and financial systems (SAP preferred). - Analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
