In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing the financial health of the organization. As a Financial Accountant you will responsible for the following:Manage and oversee cost accounting, stock, and inventory processes.Implement and improve financial controls, procedures, and systems related to cost and inventory management.Prepare and analyze cost reports, including variance analysis and budgeting.Perform regular inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate valuation of stock.Monitor and report on inventory movements, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.Review and ensure the accurate recording of stock transactions in the financial system.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for cost optimization.Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective inventory management and cost control.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.Job Experience and Skills Required:Completed Bcom in FinanceCompleted SAICA or SAIPA articles1-2 years of post-article experienceStrong background in cost accounting, stock, and inventory managementExperience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls
