Financial Accountant

Job Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our client based in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities: Checking of daily and monthly reports (Turnover, Stock, etc) Review all monthly recons Assist with re-designing of month-end recons, including fixed assets Meet all daily and monthly deadlines Authorising & preparing (as required) journals Monthly review of flash, within given timeframes Daily release of payments & beneficiaries on Nedbank business and Global Payments Administrator on Accpac/BPM/Nedbank/Global Payments Assist auditors (internal & external) and rest of the business with queries Assist with BEE process and audit Submission of management reports on Onestream Finalize management accounts for Financial Manager review Assist with any tasks assigned to you by the Financial Manager or Financial Director Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements Requirements Minimum requirements: Educational qualifications Matric/Grade 12 is essential Qualified CA(SA)   Work experience required 1 - 2 years in the Accounting field with experience in reconciliations, financial reporting and financial statements, and management of staff Highly proficient in Excel Experience in the following would be advantageous - Accpac, Forex Industry Requirements Accpac
