A reputable commercial bank is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The bank specializes in foreign exchange and vehicle financing.
JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing monthly reconciliations, and preparing or processing journal entries. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the annual budgeting process, reviewing the debtors and creditors ledgers as well as preparing the daily, weekly, monthly financial reports.
EDUCATION
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
BCom Accounting
JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
At least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in the banking industry is preferred
Experience in fleet is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of IFRS and taxation legislation
Confident and assertive
