Job Purpose & Scope Finance focal point within leadership team of assigned LOB Sets or contributes to development of Finance strategy for assigned LOB in line with business needs. Provides financial leadership to all local Branch Managers and local Finance Managers within assigned LOB, insures Integrity for financial and business decisions, and contributes to develop and execute business strategies, which meet customer expectations, and increases shareholders value Shares best practices across assigned region and strives for continuous improvement. Responsible for the quality of the financial reporting, both internal and external, in compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements. Supports the business decision process through pro-actively advising and engaging with the assigned leadership team on all Finance related matters Drives compliance with and implementation of all relevant Finance policies, procedures and initiatives and liaises with peers and Finance centers of excellence as and when appropriate Owns Finance operational excellence when translating business strategies & decisions into effective and compliant execution of all related Finance policies and processes. Fosters and promotes a climate of execution discipline. May have direct reports in a dotted line: Finance Manager/ Finance Analyst Smaller scope dimensions than Finance Director BA related to number of countries and revenue scope Scope: S&S LOB (Products/ R&LC) – Geographical scope: E/A (may also include a limited number of locations outside of E/A) Position Requirements Advanced Accounting degree / MBA, Master degree as Economist or equivalent 5 to 7 years successful professional international experience in Finance and in Managerial function preferably in a U.S. company Strong communication skills Hands-on and willing to cooperate and support on all organizational levels especially in supporting the local Branch Managers and Finance Managers Strong in intrinsic motivation, positive charisma and pro-active Organizational and change management skills Absolute personal integrity, high reliability and identification with the company Good People leadership skills Experience in working in a multinational, matrix driven organization Analytical and process oriented Drive accountability and results Demonstrate business acumen Enable team work and involvement Cross cultural awareness
