Film Fleet Business Head – Cape TownOur client in the Logistics sectorbased in Cape Town is currently looking to employaFilm Fleet Business Head.A wonderful career opportunity awaits you.Requirements:Have a Matric.At least 5 years relevant working experience.Knowledge of HR Management, Customer relations, Management, Marketing Management, Fleet Management, Administration Management.Able to apply basic Health and Safety procedures relevant to own work functions under direct supervision.Understands administrative procedures in own department.Knowledge of basic Health and Safety procedures applicable to own job functions.Fair knowledge of business principles relating to stock management.Knows stock ordering system and the functioning of the distribution chain.Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:Operational:Provide effective communication on operational performance, service levels and associated costs.Controlling of all fixed, variable costs, movable and non-movable assets.Manage staff, drivers and van assistants and their well-being.Ensure fleet is maintained as per manufacturer 's standards, and a professional image is displayed.Financial Management:Compile budgets for all branches, striving for improved financial performance, fuel, R+M, sub-hires, salaries, wages, and other costs.Managing of all Branches, Profit and Loss statements monthly.Ensure that all costs are controlled correctly in relation to budgeted figures.Ensure that all procurement orders are validated and approved within the allocated time frames.Customer Service Management:Build and create a sustainable business relationship with all clients.Formulate new and different strategies with the client to model distribution patterns/simulations around the client's current business model.Conduct monthly review meetings.Conduct performance appraisals.Fleet Management / Unit Gears / Generators.Monitor trends, investigate all accidents / incidents derive strategies to minimize related risk and cost.Sales:Acquire new business.Source Sales leads by analysing niche markets and routes.
