To liaise with the Assistant Cleaning Manager on all aspects of the building cleaning service to ensure that the service provided is appropriate. To submit weekly/monthly orders directly to the catering and cleaning offices on all chemical, janitorial and ancillary materials using official order forms and to ensure that quality and quantity correspond to the required level. Where necessary to attend to overdue or incorrect deliveries. To ensure all stock levels are properly maintained and that perishable items are regularly checked and rotated to avoid wastage. To ensure high standards of hygiene which comply with Health and Safety regulations using where appropriate the necessary powered equipment. To ensure that all order/invoicing procedures and chemical and janitorial stock documentation are properly maintained up to date and that appropriate returns are made to the Head Office on a weekly/monthly basis Basic reading is a requirement of the job to enable the Jobholder to read the instructions regarding the handling of chemicals.
