Facilities/Maintenance ManagerAre you a driven and experienced leader with a passion for excellence in facilities and maintenance management? This senior position offers a dynamic role with oversight of multiple sites and a team of 18 professionals. If you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and have a keen eye for operational efficiency, this could be your next career move!Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the maintenance department across various sites, ensuring smooth operational functionality.Plan and oversee the execution of maintenance schedules for hotel equipment and vehicle fleets.Collaborate closely with Hotel Managers, the Group Operational Manager, and Heads of Departments to resolve maintenance requests promptly and effectively, with detailed record-keeping.Develop and implement a preventative maintenance programme, ensuring compliance with warranties, safety regulations, and best practices.Manage the secure and efficient use of all equipment and resources.Recruit, train, and guide team members, fostering a high-performance culture.Minimise equipment downtime through efficient repair processes.Maintain stock levels for critical equipment and supplies, with meticulous inventory and purchasing records.Source competitive quotes and establish relationships with trusted suppliers and service providers.Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets, including CAPEX planning for new machinery and upkeep of existing assets.Uphold and enforce stringent health and safety standards.What You'll BringQualifications:Grade 12 (Matric).Tertiary qualification in Facilities, Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field (advantageous).Valid driver's licence.Experience:Minimum of 5 years as a Facilities/Maintenance Manager.Experience in hotel or property maintenance is a strong advantage.Skills:Proficient in MS Office.Expertise in CAPEX and operational budgeting.Strong planning and organisational skills with a focus on service delivery and attention to detail.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build high-performance cultures.Knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and execution.What We're OfferingA competitive package (inclusive of benefits).The opportunity to work in a picturesque location with a collaborative and supportive team environment.A role that allows you to make a significant impact across multiple sites while working in one of the most beautiful regions of South Africa.How to ApplySubmit your CV and a motivation letter today!Take the next step in your career and join a team committed to operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
