Facilities Foreman

*REQUIREMENTS*Matric, drivers license and own vehicle preferableMin 3 - 4 years facilities experienceGood administration skillsComputer literate MS Word, ExcelAbility to work independently and take instructions wellHighly organised with good supervisory and communication skillsBasic electrical knowledge which includes being able to identify phases, and basic electrical components.Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate well in a teamAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong mechanical and handyman knowledge base with the ability to use hand and power tools and basic machineryMust be physically capable of performing the jobSupervisory experience preferred (ideally of maintenance staff)Knowledge of Plumbing, ElectricalExperience with OHS AuditsForklift License advantageous* **DUTIES*Conduct inspection of buildings, identification of problems, organization of repairs and replacementsReport repair requirements and reporting to managementDoing basic handyman work where and when requiredCompleting small jobs using hand and power toolsMeeting or liaising with service providers and or contractors with quotes and advising managementAssisting the cleaning team and general assistants to ensure factory cleanliness & operational readiness on a daily basisLiaising with contractors for maintenanceUpdate all registers such as tools and asset checklists are kept up to dateUpdate water meter reading daily and report outliersUpdate fuel reading daily for forklifts & analyse usage and report outliersAttending staff meetings and planning meetings with outside contractors, service providers and landlords if and when requiredDealing with OHS Audits* *Salary: R14 R16k cost to company including Provident Fund, salary dependent on experienceJoin us on* SOCIAL MEDIA *or visit our* WEBSITE *for more information.
