Reports to Divisional Manager: Material Handling Summary: The role of an External Sales Representative is to service the needs of a company's existing clients, respond to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the external sales team Responsibilities and Duties: Material Handling product support, sales, enquiries, face to face with clients, phone calls with clients, client visits.
Projects -Drive and Identifying potential and new projects, communicate with clients regarding project details.
Attending to existing buying customers Maintain good customer relationships and promote all the products within the company's product range.
Assist with technical support on sites Cold Calling Generating new customer growth - Identify new markets and opportunities for projects and day to day sales.
Quote follow ups Weekly reports Extensive traveling to develop same product new markets.
Market research Assisting at shows Complying with any reasonable tasks given by all members of management from time to time Qualifications and Experience: Matric Certificate/NQF Level 4 Electrical Qualification or The Equivalent.
At Least 4-5 Years Sales Experience in the Electrical Engineering Industry (Electrical Background is Critical); and Previous experience in the Material Handling and Crane industry.
Previous experience in Flexible Cable Beneficial Previous Customer Service Experience.
Computer Literacy (Microsoft Package, Word and Excel); and Ax System / Syspro Knowledge Advantageous.
