As an Export Coordinator you will be a key interface role between customer and PR SCA. This role involves leading the day-to-day order capture and execution activity whilst driving customer service excellence that satisfies the markets growth aspiration via dedicated 3PL partners.
Some of the responsibilities are as follows:
Processing of shipments with great attention to detail and ensure all export documentation are in order.
Own, maintain and execute shipment for exports (Air, Sea and Road freight).
Responsible for managing commercial terms of freight.
Two-way communication with customers, keeping them always informed about the status of their orders.
Weekly sales order reports and open shipments.
Investigation of compliance per destination country of export coordinating relevant certificates, inspections etc. Ensure legal and statutory compliance on all shipments. Continuous updating export requirements information per destination country on database
Working closely with warehouse on open delivery report and see that shipments leave on time.
Implement and deploy best practices within the Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) region through continuous improvements and projects.
Set, agree and achieve KPI targets together with SSA and local teams.
Continuously improve execution of practices and methods based on performance and key performance indicators.
Solve issues and act as a consultant for the operational side
Be the contact person for local key persons dealing with daily issues, sharing and solving these within the export of orders and giving feedback to customers.
Participate in audits/assessments and task force assignments
Prepare, participate and contribute to monthly supplier review meetings and workshops to improve delivery performance and order handling.

Requirements:
B. Comm Degree / Relevant qualification preferred, but not essential
3 – 4 years’ experience in a logistics role within the FMCG industry (preferably within Liquor Industry)
Financial background, including reconciliations, imports & exports experience (Critical), knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes and legal and statutory compliance.
Ability to work under pressure and without supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks and on time delivery, reliable and committed. with very strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask
Analytical, logical and methodical with emphasis on attention detail, high level communication capability, with excellent English written and verbal skills
Strong communication and client service skills
Able to build good relationships with clients, service providers and internal stakeholders
Must be driven and able to influence
Strong accuracy and computer skills
Strong computer literacy skills, ERP System experience (advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint advantageous)
Strong work etiquette and dedication
Own vehicle preferred
