Explosives Operator Gr 1- Delay Manufacturing

Recruitment Description

/ Key AccountabilitiesAssemble the machines for production. (The 2 machines – Draw Bench & Traub)
Do quality checks on delay and cut element to ensure that all units meet the specified cut length
Housekeeping to maintain 5s standards
Do stock count of all the raw material in the production area
Reduction of delay stubby into a required diameter using draw bench machines
Do visual inspection and use relevant measurement tools and capture information on the Lot Traveler
Do fault findings on the machines for any deviations from the setup
Completion of production documents
Movement of cut elements into the heated storage area
Be able to work under pressure
Be able to work full shifts and overtime

Able to work on your own with little supervision
Formal Education
Grade 12 with Maths and Science or relevant plant specific experience
Min Experience
2+ years’ experience in Explosives manufacturing
