The F band Executive Head: Enterprise Payments role based within Commercial Business Unit.
The role of the Executive Head: Enterprise Payments is to assume full accountability for theperformance of the Enterprise Payment Product portfolio where they will be required to lead a team of portfolio managers, business analysts, data analysts, and business development managers for the purpose of:
Developing the Enterprise digital payment product portfolio.This includes the development of strategic product roadmaps and partnerships required to drive productdevelopment in line with the broader Vodacom Payments Strategy within the Financial Services Division
Grow the performanceof enterprise payment solutions by development of compelling customer propositions, innovative solution design and the identification of new digital and physical channels through which to distribute Enterprise Payment solutions
Deliver the most attractive digital product design benchmarked against industry best practices for user experience, both local and international
Lead thedesign and development of all campaigns designed to improve the uptake of Enterprise payments products and services
Ensure that the required Product Management and Commercial disciplines are developed and deployed through all stages of the product life cycle, keeping pace with the latest in industry & technology developments as well asthe broader regulatory environment
Broad collaboration with the Executive Heads of Business units across the Vodacom Consumer and Enterprise units as well as with the areas of IT, Digital, Finance and Marketing ensuring that the Enterprise Digital Payments proposition complements that of the existing Telco proposition
Your Responsibilities will include:
Clear articulation of the Enterprise Payments Roadmap, that is continuously refined and updated that drives the uptake of product through digital and physical distribution channels
Overseeing the development of all relevant documentation, providing inputs and evaluation for financial business cases, defining business rules and working with customer experience teams to define and refine existing and new customer journeys
On-going innovation and product development based on consumer and market trends as well as historical data and performance that extends beyond that of a traditional telco product proposition
Provide insights to the broader team around innovations and developments within the Payments and Fintech industry, keeping track of competitor launches and taking measures to mitigate risks
Ensure that the team regularly reviews launched products to ensure the performance is in line with initial assumptions and implement corrective measures if needed and also look at how to improve/enhance products
Conduct a deep understanding of market and channel demographics, segmentation and competitor analysis through detailed research and analysis in order to analyse VFS performance against competitors and make informed business decisions
Lead the design of effective campaigns based on deepThe ideal candidate for this role will have:
Relevant 3 year Business degree
Min 8-10 years relevant experience product and proposition management, preferably within the Financial Services industryA detailed understanding of merchant acquiring landscape is essential, for both Physical and Online environments
Product Development experience for enterprise payment solutions is essential
Communication skills,written and verbal
Understanding of financials, commercial acumen
The base location for this role is Midrand
