Interpret client requirements, terms & conditions, and technical specifications related to fabrication and maintenance tendersPrepare and compile accurate, professional tender documentationEstimate labour, materials, and resource requirements in line with project scopeConduct site inspections to gather necessary inputs for costingFollow up on submitted quotations and respond to client feedback or clarification requestsAssist with general estimating administration and maintaining documentation for audit and reference Skills & ExperienceExtensive experience in estimating within a fabrication, maintenance, or industrial services environmentFamiliarity with facilities, operational rates, and procedures relevant to large-scale infrastructure or technical service projects (advantageous)Proficient in REFMAN software (essential)Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and organisational skillsAble to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously QualificationsNational Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (preferred)Proven background in tender preparation and project costingValid drivers license Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
