ERP Finance ConsultantCity: East RandSalary: R510k to R720k paPurpose of the Position:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on ERP implementation projects as well as tasks of a general finance consulting nature on Infor Finance products and also be willing to do support after the implementation.
Qualifications Required:
Relevant National Diploma / Degree
Experience in ERP Finance system implementations, all finance modules, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashbook/Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Invoicing.
Experience in the full lifecycle of an ERP project implementation
Courses / Training in any of the relevant tools would be an advantage
Two to three years’ experience with Infor ERP LN, Syteline or any other ERP system specifically relating to the finance modules.

Overall Description:
Implementation Projects:
Design and document daily, weekly and monthly financial processes and procedures in an ERP environment for ensuring that you understand the business module
Have the ability to analyze the processes and create a sustainable solution for the client
Identify, prioritize and implement changes to business processes
Testing to ensure that the business requirements have been met
Develop user training material where required and deliver training for all financial modules ensuring a successful project go-live
Configuration of systems and if required work with developers creating sustainable solutions.
Analyze and interpret financial data for the take-on and have the ability to understand the impact of the system changes to facilitate the transformation process
Working with the client on a conversion plan
All aspects of implementation and support for ERP system at various sites.
Development of specifications for the customisation of existing functionality or complete new modules
Ad Hoc Consulting:
Assisting existing customers with finance related requests logged via the service desk
Implementation of new modules or functionality
Assisting customers with additional modifications in terms of analyzing business processes, confirming the validity of the proposed customisation, writing specifications and testing.
User Training
Finance Support:
Responding to finance calls logged via Infor365
Assist with analysis of incidents and providing resolutions.
Go-live and post go-live support

Attention to detail, Excellent Analytical skills
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Knowledge of Infor ERP LN and Baan ERP Financial modules will be an advantage
Knowledge of business processes and application functionality to enable the resolution of complex problems and influence continuous improvement
Ability to function independently and work under pressure, as well as within a team environment
Good communication, presentation and business writing skills
Strong interpersonal and customer facing skills
Must be willing to travel when required
