We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Specialist to join our Client based in JHB. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing ESIA processes for a range of projects across South Africa and other African countries. Key Responsibilities: · Leading and managing ESIA processes, including scoping, baseline studies, impact assessment, mitigation measures, and monitoring plans. · Conducting stakeholder engagement and consultation processes. · Preparing high-quality ESIA reports and other environmental and social documents. · Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international environmental and social standards. · Providing technical guidance and support to project teams. Qualifications and Skills: · BSc degree in Environmental Science, Geography or a related field. · Masters degree or equivalent qualification (advantageous). · Professional registration with EAPASA (SACNASP or equivalent may be considered). · Minimum of 15 years of experience in ESIA and project management. · Strong understanding of international lender standards. · Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Should you wish to apply for this position, please send your CV to us engineering.jobsmspstaffing.co.za or call XXX-XXXX.
