NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the preparation of a proposal for the EU funded project called: Bridging inequalities through greener municipalities and is searching for non-key experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.The main objective of this assignment is to contribute towards South Africa's efforts in the reduction of inequalities and the achievement of the Government's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).Qualifications and skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g., Certified Environmental Manager (CEM), ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, LEED Certification) is preferred.Proficiency in English (C1).Minimum 8-10 years of experience in environmental management, sustainability, regulatory compliance, or related fields.Proven track record in leading environmental programs, audits, and compliance initiatives.Experience working with government agencies, environmental regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.In-depth knowledge of environmental laws and regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA, ISO 14001, NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act).Expertise in environmental impact assessments (EIA), environmental management systems (EMS), and sustainability reporting.Strong understanding of hazardous materials management, waste reduction strategies, air and water quality monitoring, and climate change policies.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply and upload your CV via LinkedIn or send it to ******.
