The candidate will be required to assist with system and part designs, corrective and preventative maintenance, IQOQPQ, servicing and general technical needs in the laboratories and the factory itself. The candidate will also be required to travel to suppliers.
Other duties includes but is not limited to: maintain relevant systems and records, contribute to technical documents (manuals, work instructions, SOPs), research, obtaining quotes, equipment set-up, repairs, prototyping, equipment optimisation, installation, verification/validation, calibration, servicing of machinery and tools, troubleshooting production issues as well as providing technical support to R&D and production teams. The work will be conducted in line with the organisation’s quality management system.
Mechanical and electrical qualification (N3+) with at least 3 year’s work experience.
Mechanical and electrical drawing knowledge and comprehension.
Hands-on with ability to work with tools, instruments and equipment.
Must be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as business demands.
South African Citizens or have a valid work permit.
Valid Driver’s license and own transport.
