A mining company is looking for an Engineer 2.13.1 to work on-site in Limpopo
Job Title: Engineer
Geographical area: Fochville to work in Limpopo
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
Responsible for all safety requirements within his/her area of responsibility
Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act
Management by analysis and consultation, the engineering standards and practices applied at the operation
Managing equipment availabilities against set targets & Key performance indicators
Managing life cycle and operational cost of equipment and maintenance strategies
Cost & budget control
Management of the key performance areas of subordinates
Maintenance of underground production equipment such as trackless mobile machines, conveyor belts and chairlift installations
Develop action plans to achieve the mine strategy and business plan
Evaluate maintenance processes to optimise and improve as-set performance
Lead RCFA and develop action plans
Recourse planning

Minimum qualifications and experience:
BEng in Mechanical Engineering
GCC Mines & Works
Knowledge of surface and underground mining operations
Knowledge of hybrid & hydropower mining methodology will be advantageous
Minimum of 2 years in underground trackless mining environment
Must be willing to travel
