Job Description: Design, install, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems for a variety of industrial applications Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and instrumentation used in industrial processes, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards Install, maintain, and troubleshoot VSDs to optimize motor performance and energy efficiency in machinery Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation Oversee and perform commissioning of electrical and control systems for new installations, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with specifications Install and connect electrical wiring, cables, and control systems to machinery and equipment Calibrate and maintain a wide range of industrial instruments, ensuring they meet performance standards for accuracy and reliability Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, calibration, and commissioning activities, and provide detailed reports on system performance and issues Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations while working on electrical systems and instrumentation Skills & Experience: Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure seamless operation, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency Calibrate and maintain various types of industrial instrumentation to ensure precise measurements and operations Oversee the installation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VSDs Calibrate and maintain various types of industrial instrumentation to ensure precise measurements and operations Minimum requirements: N3 Electrical qualification (red seal advantageous) Years of exp 2-3 years Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
