RequirementsMatricMinimum of 3 years of experience as a DTP OperatorKnowledge of Repro SoftwareKey Responsibilities:Layout Design: Create visually appealing layouts for printed and digital materials using desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar tools.Typography: Select appropriate fonts and adjust typography to enhance the readability and aesthetics of the materials.Image Editing: Manipulate and enhance images using software like Adobe Photoshop to ensure they are of high quality and suitable for publication.Color Management: Ensure consistency and accuracy of colors throughout the design process, including image editing and printing.File Preparation: Prepare files for printing or digital distribution, including ensuring proper resolution, format, and color mode.Proofreading: Review materials for accuracy, consistency, and formatting errors before finalizing designs for production.Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers, editors, and clients to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions.Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to software, file formats, and printing processes.SalaryR8 000 to R10 000
