Job DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESTo provide a reliable and courteous transportation service with safety as a top priority.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESPerform various tasks relating to the transportation of goods.Perform deliveries and/or collections as and when required.Operate and maintain recordsAdhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.Ensure cleanliness of company vehicles.Assist the lab personnel with general duties – box co-ordinations, sample storage and removal,Assist with monthly composite preparationsGeneral upkeep of the sample storage and sample discarding areaAssist with waste managementCOMPLIANCE & AUTHORITY Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or entry to hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection, and take action to address the hazard.Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and take action to address the issue.Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified or when nonconformity is identified.QualificationsEducationSenior certificate (Matric).Valid drivers LicenceExperience Minimum 3 years driving experience.REQUIRED SKILLSGood knowledge of the North West regionAbility to read maps/GPSAbility to read and writeGood communication skillsProfessionalOther RequirementsWilling to work overtimeFlexible
