Job Description:Your day-to-day duties will include:
Cleaning of the drill tracks
Operating drill rigs
Demarcating drill patterns and putting up demarcation
Cable handling and cable work
This role is in the Mining Department and is at a B4 Level reporting to the Drill Foreman C5.
Qualifications:Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science (external applicants)
Literacy ABET level 4 (Internal applicants only)
Certificates of competence for surface drill rig
Passed drill assistant modules for support of drilling plant
Passed basic maintenance modules for Drill Rigs types
Experience:
2 – 3 years drilling operation experience (external applicants)
3 – 5 years drilling operation experience (internal applicants)
Code 10 experience on plant (advantageous)
