CAP’s Divisional Head of Marketing is a director-level position which is required to provide for the financial sustainability of CAP through: The management of a team selling fee for-service products such as CAP at Home armed response and Smart Guard CCTV monitoring. Promoting CAP’s reputation as a viable destination for donor funding and encouraging community members to donate lump sum and annuity amounts to the initiative. Creation of new products utilising existing resources to increase the average spend per home and business within CAP’s footprint. Maintaining high levels of efficiency within departments. Minimising revenue attrition through targeted retention policies. Managing annual rate increases. The key deliverables for the role include meeting revenue and growth targets, as well as assisting with the creation of marketing and product strategies and the implementation of same. Operational process design and implementation also forms part of this role. Management of sales, retentions and database teams. Management of relationship with external marketing agency and other relevant vendors. Analysis of client base and informing growth and expense budgets based on this. Maximising saturation levels of donors and clients within existing CAP areas. Maximising average rate per user in existing areas. Cost control within budgets. Attaining targeted sales for new initiatives and/or products within budgets. Evaluation and refinement of sales and onboarding processes against best practice and inter-departmental requirements. Refinement of existing marketing approach through the creation of a marketing plan within existing budgetary constraints which caters for, inter alia: Routine communication through newsletters Building social media presence Creating a strategic approach to emerging social media channels and tools Structuring a marketing database, and mining this database using CRM and marketing tools. Reporting on activities and database analysis to a high standard. Additional deliverables as may be required from the role but not stipulated above, Graduate qualification in management or marketing Director or officer level experience in a similar role within an annuity sales environment with contactable references to substantiate track record Strong understanding of CRM and marketing systems, and experience in the implementation of same. Understanding of database models, and the maintenance of databases. Strong interpersonal skills Highly organised Exceptional attention to detail Able to use own initiative Presentation skills and reporting to client and stakeholders on a monthly basis Ability to interact and work with various levels, departments and people Thrives in an environment with high demands, meeting deadlines and targets Consistent, dependable and efficient Accountable and takes ownership of projects Excellent computer and MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to develop reports Driver’s license and own transport Ability to work after hours based on community and client requirements. Gross annual remuneration of R1 000 000-00 (Cost to Company) – benefits to be discussed 15 days annual leave per annum Working hours: The candidate will be expected to be in the office during standard office hours and must attend meetings after hours and weekends when reasonably required.
