Nigel Frank International Director - up to R 1.5 mil per annum In this newly-developed cross-functional Division you will have the responsibility of supporting strategic alignment and tertiary level governance of ICT at UCT, including support and coordination across the domains of demand and portfolio management, governance, risk and compliance, metrics and reporting, and enterprise architecture. Key responsibilities Driving and supporting the prioritisation, delivery and benefit realisation measurement of UCT's ICT project portfolio Managing the support for Governance, Risk and Compliance, Coordination and maintenance of ICT Policy Register Establishing, coordinating and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture practice Monitoring and reporting on metrics/KPA's relevant to the department Managing the Division's human resources, budget and expenditure Contribution to the departmental strategy as a member of the ICTS leadership team Key aspects of the role include : leadership ability excellent communication and interpersonal skills the ability to work independently and under pressure problem-solving and analytical skills planning and organisational skills contributing effectively and creatively to the ICTS management team. Appointment to this position requires : a minimum of ten years relevant industry and discipline experience in an ICT environment, at least five years of which are in a managerial role a relevant tertiary qualification (NQF level 8) proven experience relevant to at least three of responsibilities 1- 4 above relevant and valid certification and/ or training in at least two of the major domains indicated in the responsibilities 1-4 above Please note this is an EE/AA position and only equity candidates will be considered.
