Key Responsibilities:Sales Generation:Actively prospect and generate new leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.Identify and qualify potential customers in need of renewable energy storage systems.Develop and deliver tailored sales pitches to customers based on their specific needs and energy goals.Product Knowledge:Maintain a strong understanding of renewable energy products and solutions to effectively explain their benefits, features, and advantages to customers.Stay informed on industry trends, government incentives, and policy changes related to renewable energy.Customer Engagement:Meet with potential clients in-person or virtually to assess their needs and provide appropriate energy solutions.Provide expert advice to help customers make informed decisions about renewable energy systems, including financial incentives, installation processes, and return on investment (ROI).Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.Sales Closing:Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.Prepare sales contracts, pricing proposals, and other relevant documents to formalize agreements.Handle objections and provide solutions to overcome customer hesitations, ensuring successful deal closure.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and lead statuses in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the sales manager, outlining performance, leads, and conversions.
Requirements:Proven experience in sales, preferably in direct sales or business-to-consumer (B2C) sales in the renewable energy or technology sectors.Prior experience selling solar energy systems, energy storage, or other renewable energy products is highly desirable.Experience meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, renewable energy, environmental studies, or a related field is a plus.Certification or training in renewable energy technologies or sales techniques is beneficial.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.Excellent negotiation and closing skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
