An opportunity has arisen in our Durban Jungle for a digital media campaign manager/buyer with extensive experience in digital media and a solid understanding of media across other channels.In line with our clients' brand strategies, the overall purpose of this position is to plan, buy, and report on media campaigns, and provide input and guidance on media campaigns run by other agency partners.Reporting to the managing director, this person will be responsible for the following:Media planning: Developing and managing digital media plans; including negotiating and purchasing mediaMedia implementation and optimisation, including implementation of media spend schedules, tracking/optimisation against KPI's, monitoring spend and updating brand spend schedules, relationship building with channel representatives.Monitoring and reporting: Monitoring and assessing ongoing campaign performance; assisting in strategic analysis of campaignsMedia guidance: including media format research and upskilling, input on ad types/formats.Training and upskilling: Media format research and upskilling of staff – including education/understanding, and format best practice.Process: Developing and implementing processes and ways of working, that are conducive for growth, effectiveness and efficiency of the digital media function.Required:A digital marketing degree/diplomaMin of three years' digital media planning and buying experience in an agency environmentGoogle Adwords Certification and Partner Status is a plus along with Facebook Blueprint Certification and Twitter Flight School CertificationProficiency in the management and optimisation, analysis and reporting across the following channels:Social media platforms, Google Media (Display, Search, YouTube)Online Publishers and ProgrammaticDetailed working knowledge of non-digital media channelsCompany DescriptionGorilla is an award-winning creative digital agency with offices in Johannesburg and Durban.
