A highly creative individual, specializing in digital design, visual communication and with a showcase of technical skills to back up creative outputs.
The candidate must enjoy developing social media concepts that they will roll out across various digital platforms.
Each project requires multiple applications of the primary concept, and the designer will be responsible to ensure the work is "thumb-stopping", adaptable and effective for each respective application.The role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to take work from conception / ideation to finished digital states.
The successful candidate will further provide a supportive role and work to create digital assets for multimedia projects across Spur Corporation's multiple Franchised brands.
The work includes, but is not limited to, design for social media platforms, websites, mobile apps, advertising, animation and marketing automation.Digital DesignCreate high quality assets and digital products across all touch point, such as : social media, marketing automation, websites, mobi-sites, apps, digital banners, gifting and loyalty.Develop digital assets using design skills such as image manipulation, colour balancing, motion storytelling, video creation and animation.Generate original and innovative concepts to meet expectations.Collaborate with digital team on requirements for different forms of media displays.Skilled in AI prompting to support the concept and speed up executions.Brand Communication and PositioningEnsure brand CI is consistently applied on all digital platforms.Exceptional attention to detail of all digital collateral in brand communication.Working with the digital and brand team to ensure all consumer touch points on digital platforms are kept up to date.GeneralOngoing management of tasks / projects and deadlines thereof.Ensure management of expectations with regards to deadlines and quality of work – keeping to the fast-paced nature of the business.Supporting external agencies on digital brand requirement access and knowledge.Trend-watchingOngoing awareness of new advancements within the digital space, as well as the design and solution-orientated best practices in market.TeamworkAssist the Head of Studio to enhance the reputation of the creative studio by working constructively, consistently and with creative flair.Work in collaboration with the Creative Team, Traffic Manager, Production Manager and Brand Team to ensure that the requirements of the briefs are met in a timely manner.Take responsibility for the quality of their own output by consulting with senior team members / creative team lead as and when required.Work with traffic and internal and external suppliers to ensure that projects are managed to deadlines and within budgets.Work with the creative team lead, the Design Team, Brand Team, and Copy Team to develop concepts ready for client presentations.
